1. Eligibility for Returns & Refunds

You are eligible for a return or refund if:

  • The item is unused, in its original packaging, and in resellable condition.

  • A return request is made within 14 days of receiving the item (as per UK & EU consumer rights).

  • The item arrived damaged or defective (proof required).

  • The wrong item was delivered.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Customized or made-to-order furniture

  • Assembled or used furniture

  • Clearance or final sale items

2. How to Request a Return

  2. Return Approval:
    We will review your request and provide detailed return instructions. Please note that unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

  3. Return the Item:
    Once approved, return the item in its original condition and packaging within 14 days.

  4. Inspection & Refund:
    Upon receiving and inspecting the item, we will process your refund within 5–7 business days via your original payment method.

3. Refund Processing

Full Refund:

  • If the return is due to our error (damaged, incorrect, or defective item).

Partial Refund/Deduction:

  • If the returned item shows signs of use, damage, or is missing original packaging.

Shipping Costs:

  • Change of mind: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

  • Damaged/Incorrect items: House of Furniture covers the return shipping.

4. Order Cancellations

  • Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund.

  • Once dispatched, cancellations are not possible — however, you may initiate a return following the above process.

5. Faulty or Damaged Items

If you receive a faulty or damaged item, please report it within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographic evidence.
We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.
